I believe there will be a leaf pickup today, and I have not completed the raking. I simply didn't feel up to much physical exertion this weekend. Hardly did any housekeeping, too. It may be illness of some unspecified sort; or it may, in part, be the time of year. I generally have a spurt of energy in the early fall, when the oppressive heat first lifts and days become lovely. That's when I plant bulbs, dig new beds if needed, and trim back the summer plants.
This fall, most of my energetic time was disrupted by the roofers.
